The room was reasonably large with amenities, the breakfast was delicious.

Nice place, good food offered for English breakfast. Particularly good and stunning location to nearby parks, free parking on-site. Very close to the lakes, the Lake District, and all other areas at the lake a district.

During my stay as a solo traveller, I felt right at home as I was welcomed with warm hospitality and great banter. The location was convenient, with easy access to parking. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well-taken-care-of, with lovely tartan carpets, and the bed was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and very filling, with flexibility to meet dietary requirements. The landlady was not only friendly, but also knowledgeable about the area, offering great suggestions on places to eat and things to do.

The bathroom sink had to be used for showering as the shower was not working properly, but this did not overshadow the other great aspects of the hotel.

The cute water feature in the front garden added a charming touch, and the tartan carpets inside gave a lovely Scottish vibe. Edna, the landlady, was friendly and had a great sense of humor.
